KID&CODES
Personal Design Work
KID&CODES is a collection box designed for children aged 0-2 years old, aiming at the problem of too many toys and too messy. It can not only help children to correct the bad habits of littering toys, but also provide children with interesting play modules.

origami
Inspired by origami in childhood
Origami art not only has artistic aesthetic value, but also contains mathematical operations and spatial geometry principles. Before folding, it needs mathematical operations to complete origami works.

chlidhood origami
When we were children, we used to fold some toys out of paper to play with. Next I made some origami that I used to play with in my childhood.

speace research
The plane generated by three points is stretched through a point not in the plane to create a deep space. At the same time, the connection of two planes also generates different spaces. Combine these spaces, fold them, and explore their functions.

Sensory organs
Based on the sensitivity of children aged 0-1 to sound, I made small devices with different patterns on the screen after clapping hands.

Interest
Based on the sensitivity of children over one year old to intelligence toys and previous surveys of toy size, I designed different slots to store different toys.

- minimalism

The reason for using minimalism as inspiration for this product is that minimalism can cultivate children's aesthetic outlook and tidy up habits. Minimalist design can make transportation easier and make children's mood healthier.

Basic geometry
According to minimalism, the basic geometry is chosen as the shape of the receiving box.

Color scheme
In order to cause gender disputes because of color matching, I decided to choose a neutral color as the main color matching.

Mixing several colors of different genders.

entertainmen
The light on the LED will produce different patterns with the sound. When the switch and button are pressed, different patterns will be displayed on the LED screen.
hidden space
Hidden space can satisfy children's talent of exploration.

Horn LED
The design of the horn refers to the size of the cattle, similar to the concept of receipt. The characteristics of horn were extracted, and when sound appeared, the color of horn changed
Changing the color when the sensor detacted the sound.
